【更新】金針山環境好　野蜂結成球

住在台東縣太麻里金針山上的農民蔡政銘，昨天在一棵櫻花樹上，發現一個咖啡色的球狀物，仔細一瞧才赫然發現是由成千上萬的野生蜜蜂群聚而成，好奇之餘趕緊用手機拍下來。

農委會台東區農業改良場作物環境課課長蔡恕仁表示，這種現象是因為附近可能有蜂巢，並有了第二隻蜂王，蜜蜂才會自然分家，「這代表金針山的野蜂生態及環境良好所致。」

蔡恕仁說，當蜜蜂族群開始壯大並出現另隻蜂后時，老蜂后就會帶領著一群蜜蜂，先在附近樹上集結後，再飛往另一個適合做巢的地點，完成另一個新巢，「這是一種自然現象。」（汪智博／台東報導）
