　　KONAMI 預定於 2014 年 3 月 20 日推出的 PS3／PS Vita／PSP 版人氣棒球運動遊戲《野球魂》系列最新作《野球魂 2014》（プロ野球スピリッツ 2014），日前公佈遊戲搶先購特典「傳說中的 OB 選手」（伝説のOB選手）下載碼及相關遊戲畫面，玩家可從包括稻尾和久、江夏 豊、王 貞治、山田久志及山本浩二等 5 名知名選手中隨機獲得 1 位，並在遊戲一開始即可使用，加入參賽陣營。

　　本作將收錄 2014 年職棒錦標賽開幕預測資料，備受期待新秀選手及因跳槽到其他隊伍而引起話題的移籍選手最新名單等，在打擊、跑壘及守備等各種動作模組也作了大幅改良，在音效方面的變化更為多樣，包括實況及解說方式，配合賽況的緊張轉播口吻及觀眾歡呼聲，以及實際在球場收錄的擊球聲、接球聲及選手們細膩的動作聲音等，相較於系列前作都有更具臨場感的演出。另外，本作也將配合實際錦標賽賽況提供玩家追加選手等最新資料的免費更新，以提高遊戲的耐玩度性。
